New Collaboration with Phatplayaz ‘Funky Stick!’

‘Funky Stick’ is my brand new collaborative track with the mighty Phatplayaz!  It was great to work on a piece of music together again, as we are on the same page musically and he is always a pleasure to work with!   This will be available to buy exclusively from NuBass.com this Autumn alongside lots of other excellent jrum and bass music.

New track, ‘Do you feel what I’m feeling?’

I was listening to some of my old records from the 90’s the other day and stumbled upon a real gem in Payback (Plastic Jam) ‘The Sequel’ on Labello Blanco.

I used to really love the sample on this record (which was speeded up). I first heard the original in the classic film ‘Juice’. Of course the original sample is from Teddy Riley featuring Tammy Lucas ‘Is it good to you?’.

I just had to make an updated version that I can play out with this timeless vocal sample in… enjoy! 🙂

‘The Slow Train South…’

This is a brand new piece of music completed today entitled, ‘The Slow Train South…’.  The groove to the track reminds me of a long journey, which brought back memories of the train from Bangkok to Surat Thani (gateway to the Southern Thai islands) which I did a few years ago and was a personal highlight of my travels there.  Enjoy!
